Positivity And Relaxation Training 5785 / Spring 2025 (In Person)

The Positivity And Relaxation Training (PART) program, designed by the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, is a 9-week education program that teaches participants self-care techniques to promote health, happiness, and generalized wellbeing. Topics include how to recognize your personal responses to stress, meditative techniques that elicit the relaxation response, how to change thought patterns and emotional outlook to adaptive and positive perspectives, techniques to improve sleep, eating, and physical activity, and ways to harness creativity, humor, and appreciations to cultivate positivity and personal well being. Led by trained facilitator Jodi Bring, PART at TBE will also include connections to Jewish mindfulness themes and tools.

This course follows a sequential structure, and participants are encouraged to attend all sessions. If you are interested in joining once the course has begun, please contact the program leader.

This program is part of The Well at TBE, Institute for Integrative Health, Wellness, and Spirituality. The Well at TBE integrates Jewish spiritual practices and modern mindfulness tools and techniques to provide a source of wellbeing through learning, practice, prayer, and support for individuals on their own and in community.
